GETTING STARTED

The Unclaimed Isle

A newly discovered frontier beyond the full reach of empires, faiths, and ancient plots. Here, power is fragmented and every soul must earn their place.

Beneath the radiant banners of the Dawnfire Imperium, a new horizon has emerged — an unclaimed island beyond the Emperor’s seal, Orcish war-drums, or Elven shadow schemes. This Frontier Island is a crucible where the ambitions of empires, faiths, and exiles collide.

The Imperium seeks to extend its divine light with only a handful of agents. The Umbral Path sows quiet rebellion. The Untethered rise from the mists. Orcish tribes root themselves into the land. Elven agents weave ancient plots behind stolen faces.

Resources are scarce. Power is fragmented. Every law, every sermon, every battle must be earned through grit, guile, and the will to endure. This is a place where a serf might rise to rule, a heretic might found a faith, and a corpse might rise again… changed.

Life on the Frontier

Everyone begins as a Commoner. Even the petty nobles shipped here to earn a name start at the bottom. No one arrives as a master.

Choose a starting profession, learn the ground, and scrape by on wit and work. As you settle in and read the land’s tempers, you can either hone that trade to higher ranks or cast it off for a Life Path.

Choosing a Life Path wipes your old profession clean and sets you on a new course — your first true step toward destiny.

Faction Themes & Overtones

These are the living tones that should guide roleplay for each presence on the island.

Imperial Themes

Order & Hierarchy
From Emperor to serf, the chain is absolute. To rise is possible, but only within the system.
Faith as Law
The Church of Aureon is both scripture and statute. Heresy is treason.
Conquest through Fire
Unity bought in blood. Every frontier is another land “redeemed.”
Redemption through Service
Chains gilded with piety. Obedience is the only path to worth.
Suspicion of the Other
Magi without oaths, Apex beings, and the unbound are threats by default.
Legacy through Empire
Mortals fade. The Imperium endures — or so it proclaims.

Umbral Path Themes

Whispers in the Dark
Truth in half-truths, riddles, and dreams. The voice may not be your own.
Pleasure as Power
Liberation through surrender. Hunger as ritual.
The Call Beyond Sanity
Beyond the veil lies power too vast for mortal minds.
The Seduction of Self
Your desire matters. Your will should shape the world… until something else wears it.
The Fraying of Reality
Boundaries blur. Certainty collapses. Reality becomes fluid.
Inevitability of Night
All flames burn out. The Endless Night does not conquer — it waits.

Orcish Themes

The Law of Strength
Might is truth. To be weak is to be prey. Strength is the only law.
The Hunt Eternal
Life is the hunt — for food, glory, or vengeance. Every breath is earned.
Rage as Worship
The gods are spirits of storm and stone. Their hymns are war-drums.
Clan Above All
The clan is hearth, shield, and grave. Betrayal is worse than death.
Trophies of Survival
Scars are scripture. They wear their violence as proof they still walk.
Fire and Ash
Nothing lasts. In ruin, the Orcs endure.

Elven Themes

The Burden of Memory
Elves forget nothing. History is a blade they wield with precision.
The Wheel of Time
Patience is power. Schemes bloom across generations.
The Masks of Ascension
They become High or Forest Elves to infiltrate and guide from within.
Obsession with Eternity
Mortality is a theft. Every plot bends toward reclaiming what was stolen.
The Shadow of Control
They rule invisibly — seeding wars, guiding kings, tilting cultures without ever showing their hand.
