Character Creation

Everyone begins the same way on the Unclaimed Isle. No one arrives as a master.

You Start as a Commoner

Anyone who is already someone would not come to this frontier island to make a name for themselves. Noble families might send their 3rd or 4th son or daughter. But they arrive with nothing more than their name and what they can do for themselves.

No Orc Chief with a clan would abandon their lands to come here. Once a person has a Life Path, they would not abandon everything they have built to start over on a fragile new frontier.

Choose a starting profession. Learn the ground. Then decide if you want to master it or cast it aside for a Life Path.

Choose Your Race

Each race has strict visual guidelines. When creating your character, you will need to provide a screenshot standing in a doorway so staff can verify your dimensions and appearance.

Humans

  • • Height: Men 153–183cm, Women 149–170cm
  • • Build: Slender to Muscular
  • • Skin: Normal human tones
  • • Eyes: Blue, Brown, Green, Grey
  • • RR Perk: Education +1, Wits +1, Sanctified Order religion

Orcs

  • • Height: Men 183–200cm, Women 180–195cm
  • • Skin: Green, Brown, Dark Red
  • • Build: Muscular
  • • RR Perk: Stone and Sky religion +1, Strength +1, Wits +1

Inferni

  • • Height: Same as humans
  • • Skin: Blue, red, pink, dull orange, black, grey
  • • Features: Horns (yes), Tail (optional), Pointed ears
  • • RR Perk: Umbral Path religion, Agility +1, Charisma +1

Goblins

  • • Height: 107–137cm (very small)
  • • Skin: Mossy green, earthen brown, bark-gray
  • • RR Perk: Deception +1, Agility +1, Wits +1

Dark Elves

  • • Height: Men 168–183cm, Women 160–180cm
  • • Skin: Black and Grey
  • • Hair: White
  • • RR Perk: Thalrien religion +1, Agility +1, Charisma +1, Mana

High Elves & Forest Elves

  • • High Elves: Pale human skin tones, human-range hair
  • • Forest Elves: Mossy green / earthen tones, brown/black hair
  • • Both: Lithe build, pointed ears
  • • RR Perk: Thalrien +1, Agility +1, Charisma +1, Mana

Starting Professions

When you create your character you choose a starting profession. This gives you daily work tokens and basic recipes.

Crafting Professions

  • Blacksmith — Weapons and armor
  • Carpenter — Bows, arrows, shields, ritual objects
  • Alchemist — Potions, poisons, ritual trinkets
  • Scholar — Scrolls and tomes (temporary skill buffs)

Other Starting Options

Gatherers, basic combat roles, and other commoner professions are available. Full details are available in the Discord.

Note: Full recipe lists and exact token gains are maintained in the server files.

Life Paths (Endgame Direction)

After spending time as a Commoner, you may pursue a Life Path— the final stage of your character's development. There are currently 12 available Life Paths.

Human: Noble, Cleric of Aureon, Anointed of Aureon, Umbral Priest, Umbral Anointed, Magi
Orc: Chief, Shaman, The Known, Magi, Umbral Priest, Umbral Anointed
Elf: Elven Noble (Dark Elf), Acolyte of Thalrien, Magi, Umbral Priest, Umbral Anointed

A character can only have one Life Path at a time. Taking a Life Path locks further growth in regular professions. Life Paths take significant time and effort (roughly 11 months of dedicated play) to fully master.
