The Veiled Ascended — Kyra’Syl

The Ritual of Veiled Ascension transforms chosen Dark Elves into High Elves or Forest Elves — living masks for the Deep’s long game. They are not “surface elves.” They are agents of memory and time, surgically altered in body and soul to infiltrate courts and tribes.

High Elves (Human Courts)

Pale skin, elegant bearing. Advisors, mages, scholars, and lovers in the halls of power. They remember every slight, every secret, every name.

Forest Elves (Orc Lands)

Moss and bark tones, patient watchers. They walk with the tribes, guide shamans through dreams, and slowly turn the wheel of reclamation.

Loyalty to the Deep is absolute. The mask may smile, but the memory beneath never forgets the theft of immortality.

Anointed of Aureon — The Five Ascensions

Humans touched by Aureon through ritual or divine will undergo literal transformation. They gain glowing marks, halos, and eventually wings as they ascend the ladder of the Flame.

STAGE 1
The Called
First touch of the Light. Subtle marks appear.
STAGE 2
Sanctified
Halos and radiant eyes. Minor divine gifts.
STAGE 3
Ascended
Wings begin to form. Voice carries authority.
STAGE 4
Seraphic
Full wings. Smite and healing intensify.
STAGE 5
Hallowed Flame
Living saint. The Light burns through them.

Appearance changes are mandatory and visible. These are not costumes — they are the character’s new body.

Umbral Anointed & The Transformed

The Endless Night also claims vessels. Umbral Anointed undergo a profound surrender into shadow and forbidden desire — ecstasy as transformation. They become living conduits of the veil between pleasure, pain, and power.

These paths are dangerous, seductive, and heavily roleplay-intensive. Staff watch them closely.

The Untethered — False Ascension

Vampires, liches, and grave-things who reject both life and natural death. They do not ascend — they refuse the wheel. Their power is real, their hunger absolute, and they are monsters in every sense. There is no noble undead, no honorable vampire lord here.

Playing the Untethered means playing something that has already lost its soul. Themes of decay, obsession, and inevitable rot are mandatory.
