The Keeper of Ages. The Endless Observer. He-Who-Watches. To the surface races he wears many masks. To the Deep, he is the mirror in which every Elf sees their own eternal face.
Greater Deity of Time, Fate, Memory, Cycles, Patience, and History. Symbol: an ouroboros (half serpent, half vine) encircling a stylized hourglass.
In the Deep, Thalrien is depicted as a mirror—each worshiper sees their own face, aged or youthful, reflected in golden light. He teaches that all things return in time, but the wise place their hands upon the rim of the wheel.
A calm, hooded sage with scroll and staff. Seen as a neutral or benevolent saint of history, wisdom, and legacy. High Elf agents quietly use “Elarion” sects and temples as archives and centers for genealogical manipulation across generations.
Followers: scribes, judges, philosophers, nobles seeking lasting legacy.
A towering antlered figure whose back carries a stone disc of runes. Honored through chant and story as a great spirit who drums the rhythms of the world. Forest Elf agents plant “ancestral seeds” in orc burial sites to harvest spiritual echoes.
Followers: shamans, storytellers, war-leaders reflecting on old glories.
“The Wheel must turn. But we, who shaped the first spokes, must ensure it turns true. Let the orc rage. Let the human build. Each thinks themselves free. But only we remember the shape of the wheel.”
Among Elves, Thalrien is not distant. His priests coordinate timelines, direct informants across centuries, and shape mortal perceptions generation by generation. Worship is strategy. Prayer is planning.
